This page describes the data handled by the current HushPlot site and its demos.
Launch list
If you join the launch list, the site stores your email address in its waitlist database. The form requires you to agree before submission, but the current waitlist record does not store a separate consent field or consent history. The app attempts to record the signup in the Polsia dashboard; if that is unavailable, it may send a notification to the HushPlot company inbox.
Game demos
The one-device pass-and-play demo keeps your clue progress and accusation in the current page; refreshing or closing that page resets it. Detective Duo creates an anonymous two-seat session. The app stores its invite-token hash, seat-token hashes, readiness, timeline round, pause state, discovered evidence, accusation, and reveal state, and each seat’s latest activity time. The invitation expires after two hours. Seat tokens are held in the joining browser tab’s session storage so that seat can reconnect. The server returns only that seat’s private clue. The app does not configure an automatic cleanup period for expired session records.
Preferences and site measurement
The theme control stores your light or dark preference in browser storage. When platform analytics are enabled for a deployment, the site also stores a random visitor identifier in browser storage and sends a page-view beacon to the Polsia analytics service. This is controlled by a platform-provided deployment setting.
